Our Story
Founded in the early 1990’s, Mortgage Link was one of the first mortgage adviser groups to be established in New Zealand and played a vital part in the development of the industry. We are 100% New Zealand owned and operated, with over 40 locations across the country all the way from Northland down to Otago. As a market leader in financial advice, we are proud to have helped thousands of Kiwis with their home financing needs.
Mortgage Link recently expanded its service offering in 2016 through the establishment of its sister company Insurance Link, which was set up to complement its mortgage products by providing the most comprehensive range of insurance options from the very best insurance providers. Making sure that Kiwis make good, informed decisions about how to protect what matters to them.

After an extensive sales and management career of over 20 years with both Multinational and Privately-Owned companies, Brian made a career change into the insurance industry. This occurred in 2010, since then he has come to truly appreciate the role of insurance protection for his clients. Brian has recently joined the Backbone NZ team after an 8-year career with a large brokerage company.
Listening to his clients, whether these are business, rural or domestic clients is his major priority. It is truly a relationship that Brian builds with all his clients. Gaining a true understanding of their individual circumstances allows Brian to tailor an insurance protection portfolio which is specific to each and every client. He is committed to providing the right solution and right advice – every time. These clients are all over the country where he regularly travels to service clients.
